Emma Louise Stover 88, of Kokomo, passed away at 11:50am Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Waterford Place Health Campus. Louise was born November 21, 1923 in Windfall, IN to the late, Roscoe C. Holt and Janie E. Henry-Holt (Fowler). Her marriage to R. Clifford Stover, who preceded her in death in May of 1974, was on August 3, 1940 in Westfield, IN. Louise attended Southview Assembly of God and New Life Assembly of God. She was a very Christian lady, very involved with raising her family, was a caregiver to family and friends, and never met a stranger. She was also an avid gardener, and loved flowers.

Survivors include; a son; Clifford G. Stover, wife Annette, a daughter; Linda Michel, husband Neil, a daughter-in-law Cindy Stover, seven grandchildren; Kim and Don Mansell, Eric and Pam Stover, Marc Stover, Kathy Haley, Melody and Craig Clouser, Jim Stover, and Sandy Jones, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband R. Clifford Stover, two sons; Dennis G. Stover and James M. Stover, two brothers, three sisters and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9am – 12pm Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street. Services will follow at 12pm at the Mortuary, with Rev. Raleigh F. Adams Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in Russiaville Cemetery, Russiaville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial in Emma Louise Stover's name may be made to the donor's choice. Envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
