Donna G. Savoie, 74, of Fort Myers Beach, Fl, died January 14, 2012, at 3:12 p.m. Born April 12, 1937, in Artesia, New Mexico, she was the daughter of
James E. Keith and Pauline (Polly) A. Vandiver Taylor, and was raised by her mother and step-father, Jack Taylor.
An active homemaker, she had been employed by Delco Corporation in Kokomo, IN and was co-owner with her husband Paul, in their upholstery business.
They retired to Fort Myers Beach, FL in 1993. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post 1152, Veteran's Club
Of America, Post 1, and a thirty-year member of the K.E.R. She is survived by her loving sons, Gregory L. Savoie, and Charles Miller of
Fort Myers, FL. Loving daughter Vickie I. and husband Chris Shoemaker, Bloomington, IN. Brother, Robert Keith, Kenya, Alaska. Beloved granddaughters:
Cammie and husband Roman Wiggins, Plainfield, IN, Chantay and husband Luke Watson, Bloomington, IN, Shannon and husband Chris Guidry, Bloomington, IN.
Great-grandchildren: Jaden L., and Kylan S. Guidry, Gavin T., Caleb R., Breanna G. Wiggins, and Colton E. Watson.
Special nieces: Donna C. Davis, Pineville, NC, and Eireen K. Gunning, Westfield, IN. Special nephews: Michael T. Lawless, Huntington, IN, Stephen R. Lawless, Concord, NC, James Lawless, Van Lawless, Jeffrey J. Lawless, all of Kokomo, IN, and Daniel P. Lawless of Morris, IL.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul B. Savoie, beloved son, Steven P. Savoie, and sister, Jacquelyn L. Lawless.
Services are to be held Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at Ellers Mortuary Chapel, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, IN.
Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with Memorial Services following at 3:00 p.m. A second memorial service and burial will be held in Fort Myers, FL pending
families return from Indiana. Memorials may be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Kokomo, IN Or Veteran's Club of America, Post 1, in Fort Myers, FL.
